January2012, new projects in progress...

ok, so I have been AWEFUL about keeping this up to date..little momma is so wonderful!! She is starting to smile, coo, and doing so great at holding her head up!

We had a wonderful Christmas! Mommy got an Ice machine, and a sewing machine, Daddy got clothes, and she got a swing, and plenty of other wonderful things.

I have begun several projects..

here is the Cabinet i have been working on.  $40 purchased from a sweet little lady off of cragslist.  it was UGLY wood.. it's still not perfect.. but looks ALOT better black...

Painted the inside taupe and am working on the organization.  There are 3 hanging dowel rods hanging on the top for ribbon (yes i seem to have a ribbon obsession..) fabric in the top drawer, christmas, birthday, and other gift bags and tissue paper in the 2nd drawer.. and the rest of the cabinet is still yet to be utilized.. I plan on hanging a couple of spice racks on the doors and putting craft paint in those.... more pics to come as soon as i get more done in it. 

here is a travel organizer i made... saw it on pinterest... love the idea of having somewhere to put our tooth brushes, and wet shower items the morning we leave the hotel, so that everything in our bag doesnt get wet. :)

here it is all rolled up, it's a little bulkier than i originally wanted, but it works! :)

here is the very first 'large' project i attempted to make.. it's a cover for my sewing machine.... it took me FOREVER!! it is DEFINATELY JANKY!! haha.. first of all, it's crooked.....

yes, the side panel, that is the "wrong side out" seam, WHOOPS! haha...

i love the b&w pocket on the red side panel,  even though the side panel is a tiny bit small. 

here is a close up of the wrong side out seam...this was definatly a learning experience project.  

There have been a couple more projects since this one.. they are slowly getting better.  I will post pictures of those soon.
